Chairman of the South Azerbaijan Social and Cultural Studies Centre, political scientist Davud Turan has told the statement to Gun.Az from US, while commenting on holding the US-Azerbaijani security dialogue in Washington.
"Azerbaijan is a country which from the very beginning condemned the terrorism in the region and world and stood with the US, because this principle is one of the main factors united the US and Azerbaijan.
The both countries have weathered terrorism and the threat continues today.
In addition, US-Azerbaijani relations are developing increasingly. Today the non-settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and continuation of Armenia's aggressive policy hamper the security policy of the US in the region, and it cannot but concern the US," the political scientist said.
